BGRC aims to provide a means by which members of the local community can take part in the healthy sport of rowing.

We are an inclusive organization that seeks to enable the participation of all comers.

We have now formed a Cornish Pilot Gig Rowing Club in Bridport. We are the 53rd such club in the West Country and now need to start the long hard slog to raise money for this fantastic community sport.

A committee has been formed to raise money with the aim of having a racing gig built for the 2011 season. We plan to hold a variety of fundraising events including a Rowathon, a Ball, and a whole host of other enterprising schemes.
